Mission

Global Footsteps is part of a worldwide movement to enhance the natural environment and the lives of all those living within it.

We organise short term placements for talented volunteers at humanitarian and environmental projects where they can make a real difference. We are based in Cheltenham, UK, but have members in linked communities all over the world.

Our vision is to inspire people of all ages to offer what they can to help enhance the lives of those most affected by inequality, environmental destruction and poverty.

We want to encourage generosity, kindness, compassion and a commitment to solving problems that are bigger than oneself.

A fairer, greener, happier world is our underlying goal; we believe that by enabling people to engage face to face with problem issues we will motivate them to act in positive ways.

We believe that small is beautiful and therefore link only to organisations that work directly and in a hands on way to solve the problems affecting their local communities.
