This forest school in the Barbaka forest is a perfect place to volunteer for those interested in experiential environmental education.  Visit their website here.

The Barbaka Forest lies just north of the Polish city of Toruń and is renowned locally for its beauty. Cheltenham has strong links with Toruń through the twin town network, and the town is regularly visited by Global Footsteps members.

Members of the Tilia team recently joined forces with Global Footsteps, KERIC in Čadca, Slovakia and IFAK in Göttingen, Germany, to work on a project with the theme of ‘Learning through Volunteering’, funded by the EU Grundtvig programme.  Members of all four organisations will meet in Toruń for the final workshop of the project, in April 2014.

We will ensure that you have a fantastic stay in historical Toruń, where we will be able to place you with a host family. If you’re interested in volunteering with us, please fill out the volunteers form.
